Lake Brownwood State Park
Situated in the heart of Texas, Lake Brownwood State Park is a beautiful legacy to the Civilian Conservation Corps workers’ years of devotion in creating this natural masterpiece. Stay in a historic cabin, hike the nearly 6-miles of scenic trails, relax overnight on one of the lakeside campsites, or spend the day playing on the shores of the 7,300-acre lake. While there’s so much to explore off the lake, on the lake is where many visitors prefer to spend their days. Boat, ski, paddle board, fish, jet ski and swim on the sparkling waters of Lake Brownwood.
